Getting smooches above. Everyone kept pulling him into their laps because, hello! Adorable pit bull! If you look very, very closely, you can see the lipstick kiss on Baron's neck, below the base of his ear. I gotta smooch the Baron every time I see him. It's our thing, you know?

Girl finishing her dinner. I never imagined I would ever have to coax her to eat. Little is always willing to finish any leftovers, though. He's perched above her on the back of the sofa. Always helpful, that Little.

I don't know if this is sad or brave or what

I picked a lone flower on the way to work, these little yellow guys are everywhere, and we have them back home in California, too. Anyway, by the time I got to work it had absolutely fallen apart in the big purple bag of doom, but I couldn't bear to throw it away, so I put it in a little vase. Last week was so wretched, I was just trying to make things less ghastly....if nothing else the girls and I got a laugh, but it was kind of sad, too. Sorry little dude!

Poppies

These were very floatytoes-esque, I thought. Took this picture last week and this morning there was only one left. These poppies come out every year right at my bus stop.

I love her ears! She's showing how good she is, sitting politely and waiting to get treats. Why has this amazing girl not been adopted yet? She's going in for her media spot today though, so I don't expect her to be there on Saturday when I go in. Oh Emma, I hope you are happy in your new home.
